BERNUSS is a Slovak brand of custom-made beds and mattresses driven by a single mission: healthy sleep. It was founded on the belief that true rest begins with honest craftsmanship, natural materials, and an individual approach to every customer.
Production takes place in the Slovak village of Nová Dedina, where the brand builds on a long-standing family tradition of woodworking. Every bed and every mattress are made by hand, without automation, with a strong focus on detail, functionality, and durability. Each product is tailored precisely to the customer’s needs – from dimensions to the ideal level of firmness.
BERNUSS uses high-quality natural materials such as horsehair, wool, cotton, silk, and cashmere, all of which support healthy and comfortable sleep. The combination of skilled craftsmanship and premium materials ensures exceptional comfort, natural temperature regulation, and outstanding durability.
The brand stands firmly behind the quality of its products, offering a 5-year warranty on mattresses and a lifetime warranty on bed frames. BERNUSS beds and mattresses can be personally experienced in showrooms in Bratislava, Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, as well as through partner retailers across the Czech Republic.
Our mission is to promote Slovak manufacturers and service providers. We show that buying Slovak products makes sense, that they provide quality, a good price and value. We present the essence of Slovak manufacturing through the story of the production process. The main ambition is to help products penetrate other markets abroad.
We use our communication channels and videos to show how products are made and of what kind of quality in Slovakia. In our project, we focus on Slovak quality, competitiveness and the export potential of domestic products. We support a broad spectrum of producers, from iconic favourites like Chrumky and Horalky, through beverages, wine and beer, to innovative products and traditional Slovak products, such as the fujara and bryndza cheese.
